Problem communicating with the CRM server while working in Outlook

Problem
If you receive an error stating that there is a problem communicating with the CRM server while working in Outlook then try the following.
Solution
1) Try opening the CRM web application to see if you are prompted for a password
2) If so, then you must enter the current Outlook users windows password and click the save password check box
3) Close and reopen Outlook
4) Error message should go away and CRM functionality (toolbar) should return.
Additional Comments
If this doesn't work, try repairing the CRM application through the control panel add/remove programs.
